By 2050, over two thirds of the world’s population are expected to be living in cities and, with this new model, attention is being paid to regenerating cities while creating sustainable, livable, connected, resource regenerated, cultural, healthy, and prosperous places to live.
Join Mithun Principal Sandy Mendler for “EcoDistricts: Denver’s New Model of Urban Regeneration,” an exploration of EcoDistricts’ global performance framework for achieving people-centered, economically vibrant neighborhood sustainability as well as an overview of national applications of the EcoDistrict protocol.
Sandy is currently engaged in multiple planning projects for the City of Boulder, CO and recently led an EcoDistrict workshop there. She will be joined by Chris Parr, Sun Valley Ecodistrict, Denver Housing Authority; Josh Radoff, YR&G and Jocelyn Hittle, Denver Program Development, Colorado State University.
