Chatham University’s Eden Hall Campus is the first new university campus in the world to be built sustainably from the ground up, featuring full cycle water recycling, net positive energy production and zero waste operations. The new campus, located just outside of Pittsburgh, is meant to exemplify Chatham’s commitment to sustainability and environmentalism.

Mithun Principal Sandy Mendler will lead “Innovations and Lessons Learned from New Net Positive Energy Campus” as part of the Designing and Delivering on ZNE Projects track at the Getting to Zero National Forum. Sandy will share detailed information and insights that have been gained from the design, construction and operations phases, with candid lessons learned and discussion of ongoing challenges.
