With a portfolio totaling more than 20 million square feet of built construction, Ben offers broad expertise with complex project types spanning workplace, higher education, civic, cultural, hospitality and transportation. Working within and across markets, he excels at synthesizing best practices with new perspectives to craft solutions that outperform owner expectations, inspire users and uplift communities.

Ben’s portfolio of work features award-winning commercial office environments including build-to-suit corporate campuses, adaptive reuse, high-rise towers and urban mixed-use developments. He brings a thoughtful, energetic and engaging leadership style to his work with stakeholder groups of all types, shepherding projects from big idea to built form. In addition, Ben mentors future generations as a lecturer and design critic for architecture programs at UC Berkeley, University of Washington and California College of the Arts.
