Cima Malek-Aslani

Principal

Cima leads teams across a range of project scales, from tenant improvements to campus plans. Her passions lie in evolving trends for learning and working environments – she believes that students should learn in modes that prepare them for how they will work after graduation. She is research-oriented, digging into the underlying institutional, programmatic and aesthetic trends that inform planning and design.

Cima has 39 years of experience in the renovation of existing buildings with a focus on historic structures. Her ability to balance the preservation of historic structure features with a client’s need for a modern work environment contributes to her role as leader in historic adaptive reuse projects.
