Google Store

Overview

Google selected Mithun to design the first retail space on their Mountain View Campus. With a goal to embody Google culture and to leave a lasting impression, the iconic store attracts employees and visitors from all over the world. A sculptural cocoon features hand-woven CAT-5 cables radiating over a custom steel frame. Inside the cocoon an interactive digital recording booth encourages visitors to share memories and messages. Selling over 90 different Google t-shirts and a variety of merchandise, the team designed modular merchandising fixtures that provide efficient function and easy maintenance.
