AIA.ORG: Bert Gregory Shares Experience with R/UDAT Response to Birmingham Tornado

Mithun Chairman and CEO Bert Gregory, FAIA, discussed the AIA Regional and Urban Design Assistance Team’s (R/UDAT) recent work in Birmingham, Alabama in an article on the National AIA website. Last summer the team traveled to the Pratt City neighborhood to meet with city and community leaders in response to damage caused by a tornado in April 2011, Gregory says of the project:
“In all that we do, the Architect’s civic role as builders of communities is one of our highest callings.”
