Girl Scouts Visit Mithun Office

Mithun is currently working on the Girl Scouts of Western Washington Camp Properties and Programs Master Plan. In order to gain a better understanding of their needs, the team invited a group of Girl Scouts, troop leaders and parents to visit the office and participate in afternoon workshops. Following a short presentation and office tour, the girls were asked to share their Girl Scout camp experiences, preferences and ideas – providing a deeper dialogue surrounding key issues from their perspective. During the second half of the afternoon, the girls learned how to translate their ideas and concepts into designs, creating models of their favorite places and presenting their ideas with their groups. It was a great day for all, continuing to build excitement and consensus for the project.
