Greenbuild 2009: Water Resource Use + Green Design

The health of our water resources in most parts of the U.S. is more precarious than is generally understood and water use in many parts of the country is simply not sustainable. This panel will discuss the true dimensions of our water crisis in every region of the country and highlight the role architects builders developers urban planners and landscape architects all play in safeguarding preserving and even enhancing water resources.
Moderated by Kent Butler, Associate Dean for Research and Operations at the University of Texas at Austin. Speakers are Robert Glennon University of Arizona, Bert Gregory, FAIA, Mithun, President and CEO, and Kim Sorvig University of New Mexico, Research Assistant Professor.
