NAAEE Annual Conference: Healing Through Design

Brendan and Susan will discuss how integrated architecture and landscape design can contribute to larger environmental education (EE) program aspirations. The panel will feature “lessons learned” from a number of case studies that weave restorative site design with sustainable practices to encourage positive social and environmental change. The session will also explore functional planning questions related to fundraising, land acquisition, public/private partnerships, outreach, programming and other issues associated with development of a successful sustainably designed and ecologically restorative EE facility.
