Bert Gregory Named a 2010 Cascadia Green Building Council Fellow

SEATTLE — 05.17.2010 — The Cascadia Green Building Council recently announced its 2010 Cascadia Fellows. The Cascadia Fellowship is awarded annually to individuals who have made significant contributions to the green building movement either regionally or nationally, and are recognized leaders within the greater green design community. The Fellows embody Cascadia’s conviction that individuals and organizations can lead a transformation of the built environment by acting as levers and catalysts for change.

“Each of the 2010 Cascadia Fellows has had an outsized impact on the green building movement and the building industry more broadly,” says Jason F. McLennan, Cascadia CEO. “Because of their strong leadership, we have made critical progress over the past twenty years. The shifting landscape of the building industry today is the result of these risk-taking pioneers who have invested their talent and passion in creating a more sustainable world.”

The 2010 Cascadia Fellowship recipients were announced at this month’s Living Future event Seattle. Hosted by Cascadia, Living Future is an annual event that brings together the world’s most forward-thinking green building professionals to explore solutions to today’s most daunting environmental and social justice issues. This year’s event was attended by a sold-out crowd of 800 people.
