A contemporary building in a historic Seattle neighborhood, 200 Occidental’s diverse program reflects its urban character with a modern, sustainable design featuring materials and technology that enliven its context. Respecting the history that precedes it, the ten-story mixed-use building features materials and proportions that honor the neighborhood’s existing architecture. A high-performance curtain wall provides solar screening, sun shading, and a reflective backdrop to Occidental Park, echoing and animating the features of this important public space. The building features office space, residential apartments, and an internal parking system.
