Kitsap SEED
Overview
The Kitsap SEED Project is a Port of Bremerton Initiative seeking to integrate Sustainable Energy and Economic Development (SEED) within a world-class campus for clean energy technology companies. The project goal is to showcase the highest level of sustainable development and business operating practices. Sustainable site development objectives focus on establishing a reliable infrastructure that combines existing renewable and non-fossil fuel energy sources to meet all energy needs. Low-impact site development features include site-wide pervious surfaces and site-water management systems that integrate storm water, rain water collection and waste water treatment. Phase one maintains a LEED® Platinum goal for all construction.
