Lexis on the Park

Overview

Lexis on the Park, a five-story, 139-unit urban infill of condos, lofts, and townhomes, creates vibrant, active pedestrian access through a visually enjoyable system of outdoor spaces. Located in Portland’s redeveloping Pearl District, the building experience begins across the street at an adjacent park. A gradual transition from public to private space extends to the sidewalk level, passing a light rail station before entering a series of mixed-use retail shops, and concluding in an intimate interior courtyard. Completed for Hoyt Street Properties, the dense, transit-oriented development is part of the Portland’s long-term redevelopment strategy for the Pearl District. A materials pallet featuring concrete, masonry, and steel also respects the neighborhood’s strong industrial history.
