Puyallup City Hall Block

Overview

The Puyallup City Hall Block project, a public/private partnership, is aimed at renewing the city’s urban core and creating a focal point for future development. The project covers nearly a block and includes a new city hall, a civic plaza, courtyard and parking garage, as well as commercial space. The improvement encompasses a narrowing of the curb along the length of the project and an elevated pedestrian crossing that enhances the connection from the plaza to the City Hall and celebrates the gateway to its historic Pioneer Park. The development team includes developer Egis Real Estate Services along with general contractor Skanska. Mithun’s integrated team is providing architectural design, urban design, landscape architecture and interior design services.
