Project Galleries

Riverwoods

Located in Southeastern Kentucky on the Cumberland River, this new world class residential environmental education facility will provide overnight outdoor based education to underserved rural communities of Kentucky and surrounding states. The sustainably designed campus includes an interpretive center, dining hall, lodging, classrooms and university research facilities. In collaboration with Carman and Tate Hill Jacobs Architects.

Upon completion, Riverwoods will apply to become certified under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® program and the learning studios are designed to meet the Living Building Challenge.
