South Seattle Community College University Center

Overview

Located at the center of a long pedestrian corridor that runs through the South Seattle Community College (SSCC) campus, the University Center connects vocational, technical, and academic programs, and links the campus to a neighboring greenbelt. The center is home to new programs for students pursuing four-year bachelor degrees at the college. A living room for students, faculty, and staff, the glass façade along the building’s pedestrian axis opens interior spaces to the community and connects occupants with the surrounding outdoors.
