Teton Science Schools Jackson Campus

Overview

Teton Science Schools fuses residential environmental education programs with the K-12 Journeys School at its new Jackson Campus. Both programs share common resources and feature hands-on nature based learning near Grand Teton National Park— creating a living laboratory for students and teachers alike. Mithun collaborated with Hawtin Jorgensen Architects to create environmentally intelligent spaces where teaching and learning work hand-in-hand with research and wildlife observation, and where buildings integrate with their natural surroundings. The Journeys School represents the first private accredited K-12 school in Wyoming and helps to foster education and exploration by blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.
