Project Architect: Multi-Family Housing

Mithun | Hodgetts + Fung in Los Angeles is looking for a concept-driven, technically-focused Project Architect to join our team as key collaborator with projects focused on where people live – urban multi-family, affordable and student housing. Our teams are structured to welcome ideas, reward collaboration and enable constant professional growth.

Qualified candidates have a passion for sustainability, a rigorous pursuit of excellence and a high degree of modernist design sensitivity, along with at least 10 years of experience, a professional degree in architecture and architectural registration. Candidates have demonstrated experience with all phases of design and documentation using Revit; coordination of consultants; construction administration; and thrive working with interdisciplinary design teams and client representatives. Required expertise includes complex mid- and high-rise multi-family and/or student housing typologies; well-versed with Los Angeles housing, unit types, amenity spaces, ADA and state and local codes; and a proven track record working with the Los Angeles planning and building departments. Proficiency is required with Revit. Project Management experience is a huge plus.
