The first project in San Francisco’s HOPE SF reconstruction program, Hunters View will be a diverse community incorporating public housing, new affordable rental units, market rate units, retail, and community amenities. The project is replacing 1940s and 1950s era public housing units with 267 new units on a 22-acre site, while keeping the organization and character of the city’s historic neighborhoods. Hunters View recently received the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU) Charter Award.
Mithun’s Dan Solomon and Anne Torney will join Catherine Etzel of the John Stewart Company and Theo Miller of San Francisco Mayor’s Office to lead a walking tour hosted by SPUR. Attendees will tour the first completed phase, see what is under construction and learn what’s next for the initiative around the city.
