The first project in the San Francisco’s HOPE SF reconstruction program, Hunters View will be a diverse community incorporating public housing, new affordable rental units, market rate units, retail and community amenities. The project is replacing 1940s and 1950s era public housing units with 267 new units on a 22-acre site, while keeping the organization and character of the city’s historic neighborhoods. With Phase 1 complete and build out projected for 2019, Hunters View recently received the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU) Charter Award.
Mithun’s Anne Torney will lead a tour of the site during 13th San Francisco Living: Home Tour, a two-day open house event presented by AIA San Francisco and the Center for Architecture + Design. Participants will tour the first completed phase, explore housing trends and discover innovate design solutions that inspire unique San Francisco living.
