Mithun’s Anthem on 12th was named a finalist for this year’s Urban Land Institute (ULI) Jack Kemp Excellence in Affordable and Workforce Housing Award, which honors developments that ensure housing affordability for people with a range of incomes. Winners will be announced during the ULI Fall Meeting in Dallas, October 24-27.
Developed by Spectrum Development Solutions, Anthem on 12th is a new mixed-use affordable housing project providing a gateway presence to the redeveloping Yesler Terrace neighborhood in Seattle. The project consists of 120 workforce units, retail and amenity spaces, and is within walking distance to transit. Anthem on 12th contributes toward the Mayor’s target of providing 50,000 new homes in the next decade, including 20,000 affordable housing units for people making 60% of the area median income.
Anthem on 12th is one of three Mithun-designed workforce housing projects with Spectrum in the Yesler Terrance neighborhood: Decibel is slated to open in mid-July and Reverb in September.
