There is strong evidence that the buildings and neighborhoods in which we live, work, learn, and play can impact many health outcomes. LEED and Enterprise Green Communities criteria strategies were established to help guide teams through a systematic consideration of the health impacts of their projects. “Promoting Health through Community Development” will explore these ideas and how desired outcomes are turned into actionable design, construction, and maintenance strategies.
