The Wanapum Heritage Center exhibit, Tamanwit: Unwritten Laws and Beliefs, Wanapum of Priest Rapids, was selected for an Honorable Mention in the 29th Annual American Alliance of Museums (AAM) Excellence in Exhibition Awards program. The exhibit was recognized for “reclaiming narrative with insightful and personal community authorship.” The national competition recognizes outstanding achievement in exhibitions from all types of museums, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens and other public exhibitions.
