San Francisco Department of the Environment and the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development are convening “Building Efficient All-Electric Affordable Housing in San Francisco,” a forum with leading design and engineering firms, developers and owners, city agencies and other thought leaders about building affordable housing with zero carbon emissions in San Francisco.
Join Mithun associate Hilary Noll at the forum for a new construction panel exploring how highly efficient, all-electric new multifamily affordable housing fits with the City’s climate and energy goals. Panelists will share their experiences planning and designing efficient all-electric affordable housing. Key themes covered will include costs, code issues, co-benefits of strategies and practical tools to help with successful implementation. Featured Mithun projects include Maceo May Veterans Apartments, Casa Adelante at 2060 Folsom, Hunters Point Shipyard Blocks 52 and 54, Casa Adelante – 681 Florida and Balboa Park Upper Yard.
Hilary’s co-panelists include Association for Energy Affordability’s John Neal, David Baker Architects’ Danial Simons and MidPen Housing’s Matthew Lewis.
