We are thrilled to share that Louisiana Children’s Museum and National Nordic Museum are winners in the USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice travel awards for Best New Museum. The museums placed 7th and 5th, respectively, in the national contest ranking museums from across the country.
“It’s exciting to have two Mithun-designed museums selected in USA Today’s 2020 Best New Museum awards program. This national recognition is a testament to the innovative vision, creative leadership and dynamic community engagement at both Louisiana Children’s Museum and the National Nordic Museum,” said Mithun partner Rich Franko. “Our teams relished the immersion into these diverse locations of historic City Park in New Orleans and the maritime waterfront of Seattle to create environments that are unique to each site and mission.”
