As architects and designers, we thrive on creating spaces that build community—to enhance innovation in the workplace, reduce social isolation on campus and improve the urban life. This presentation will highlight past research into physical environments and behaviors, as well as new explorations into forging community thorough digital platforms.
Mithun partner Elizabeth MacPherson will share best practices for community-building in “Creating Community: Physical and Digital Worlds,” and facilitate a conversation about how strategies to achieve community connection are changing in the current climate, as well as how they may continue evolve into the future.
