Sustainable architecture, design, and construction today is supported by software at every stage. New tools are constantly being developed to address specific needs, like sustainable specification, embodied carbon calculations and building performance analytics. What types of digital technologies are most useful right now, in the fight against climate change, and where might future opportunities lie?

Join Mithun building performance analyst Claire McConnell for “Technologies for Sustainability,” a panel discussion exploring how leading firms are using technology to strategize and expedite sustainability goals for a carbon-neutral future. Claire will discuss Mithun’s history of R+D in sustainability as well as new initiatives currently underway.

Claire’s co-presenters include SmithGroup co-lead of computational design Leland Curtis, BNIM associate principal Jeremy Knoll and Perkins & Will energy lab director Benjamin Welle. Metropolis editor in chief Avinash Rajagopal will moderate the discussion.
