In this AIA Arkansas Virtual Speaker Series presentation, Mithun partner Richard Franko explores a methodology of interactive design engagement across disciplines and with engaged users to yield more deeply resonant design solutions that connect to place. “Integrated Design as a Path to Place” features three project case studies—Louisiana Children’s Museum, National Nordic Museum and Blakely Elementary School—that incorporate intensive site and building integration, a layered choreography of user experience, site design and building tectonics connected to place or story, and a bioclimatic building response.
