Located in San Francisco’s Mission District, Casa Adelante at 2060 Folsom is the result of decades of community-based planning and political advocacy. Now complete, the mixed-use building with 127 permanently affordable homes features a series of joyful spaces indoor and out that demonstrate how affordable housing can be a vehicle for multiple benefits in the service of equity, sustainability and social connection.
Join Mithun senior associate Mary Telling and partner Tim Mollette-Parks for “Layers of Listening: Community Voices in Design of Affordable Housing,” a special event incorporating a panel discussion and building tour exploring the history of the site, how the community vision was honored through all phases of the project, and resulting community-serving features of Casa Adelante at 2060 Folsom. Additional panelists are PODER organizational director Antonio Diaz and Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) deputy director of community real estate Elaine Yee.
