In 2016 at LAF’s Summit on Landscape Architecture and the Future, six emerging landscape architects gave declarations on the future of the profession. In the workshop “Emerging Voices: 10 Years Ago, 10 Years Ahead,” those same professionals reflect on the ideas that have held up, what has shifted and what new responsibilities have emerged.
Mithun partner Tim Mollette-Parks will facilitate an interactive discussion to imagine the next decade. Attendees will gain perspective on long-term professional growth, clarity about how individual values translate into sustained practice, and feel a renewed sense of agency in shaping the future of landscape architecture. The workshop is intended for current students, past LAF Olmsted Scholars and emerging practitioners.
Tim’s co-presenters include Merritt Chase founding principal Nina Chase, University of Pennsylvania assistant professor Azzurra Cox and OLIN associate Joanna Karaman.
