The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Equity Summit is part of a yearlong listening and learning tour to gather ideas, concerns, successes and challenges. Once the tour is complete, this dialog will be used to generate a social equity road map—a document that will reflect all that we learned, and how USGBC will address social equity in green building moving forward.
Join Mithun senior associate Hilary Noll for “Thinking Inside the Box: Post-Occupancy Evaluation Results from Affordable Housing” to explore methodologies for effectively engaging community members in design analytics. Deep listening via post-occupancy evaluations (POEs) not only helps owners to improve operations and quality of life for residents, but also offers designers an opportunity to evaluate the success of design intentions to create positive change.
