As the wealth gap expands and meaningful alternatives are being explored, closed-loop community wealth building is re-emerging in multiple arenas of thought and practice. How can designers be active participants in shifting power to communities and re-envision the role of design in supporting community wealth? Could these strategies be part of national reparations as the country grapples with its whole history?
