MOD X EDU – Northwest Offsite Network is an education and outreach course series designed to build regional capacity and capability in offsite modular housing, and accelerate the knowledge and uptake of offsite construction in the Pacific Northwest. The event is co-hosted by the Housing Development Consortium Offsite Construction Task Force and MOD X, an international research and education consultancy in offsite and industrialized construction.

Join Mithun partner Craig Curtis for “Design for Manufacturing and Assembly” to learn about developing product platforms, manufacturing thinking, digital workflows and pull-based planning and design. This presentation is the fourth in a series of educational sessions that begin on April 7 with an introduction to offsite and modular housing, and focus on details of manufacturing (April 14) and assembly (April 21).

Craig’s co-presenters include Grace Kim of Schemata Workshop and Matt Lasse of JacksonMain Architecture.
