Public institutions and governments are increasingly choosing design-build as a project delivery method that best leverages integrated design to achieve great project outcomes. Landscape architects are playing key roles within projects of increasingly large scale. This session explores how new delivery methods are changing the landscape architect’s role in the design process, as well as key partnering strategies to enhance project success.
Join Mithun partner Dorothy Faris for “The Fast and the Furious: Design Build Goes Big” to hear designers’, owners’ and contractors’ perspectives about the evolution, advantages and pitfalls of design-build. Panelists will share key management practices—such as target value design, collaborative design approach and project delivery charters—for a successful design-build experience.
