This session features recent winners of the ILFI Stephen R. Kellert Biophilic Design Award—including Louisiana Children’s Museum—to highlight the human-nature patterns in design that express a caring and multi-sensory human experience elevating social and ecological well-being. For each project, panelists will share biophilic design elements and patterns, how they take shape, how they are engaged and experienced, the related research findings and what lessons we might learn moving forward.
Join Mithun partner Rich Franko for “Designing for the Senses: Stephen R. Kellert Biophilic Design Award-Winning Projects” to participate in the conversation, awaken your senses and deepen your knowledge and successful practice of biophilic design.
Rich’s co-presenters include Lens Strategy design strategist Sonja Bochart, Heatherwick Studio partner and group leader Mat Cash, and Perkins & Will principal and director of sustainability Kathy Wardle.
