Decarbonization is one of the most critical topics facing green building professionals. Reducing the CO2 emissions that raise global temperatures is a nonnegotiable part of keeping our communities and our planet healthy for future generations. Together we’ll explore the ways LEED supports decarbonization while looking toward innovations to propel us into a carbon free world.
Join Mithun partner JoAnn Hindmarsh Wilcox for “LEED Case Studies” to explore real world projects in different phases of construction, operations and maintenance, as well as LEED certification. Among the featured case studies is the Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Youth Academic and Physical Education Building, a 48,000sf mass timber project designed by Mithun in association with Skanska.
JoAnn’s co-panelists include Steven Winter Associates senior sustainability consultant Kai Stern, and Huntington Place Detroit Conference Center engineering and facility services director Al Vasquez. USGBC managing director of U.S. market transformation and development Rhiannon Jacobsen will moderate.
