“Roll with Us: Access in Action” is a one-day, pop up public exhibit about mobility options and accessible transit around Seattle. Everyone is welcome to visit this free interactive exhibit about existing transit access options, see how an actual Access bus works, and learn more about pilot programs to improve the accessibility of downtown sidewalks and seating areas in designated pick up and drop off areas.

Join us for this unique and exciting opportunity to engage in dialog about how our cities are designed and built. You will get a firsthand look at a temporary build of a sidewalk ramp retrofit and accessible waiting bench and how they work with a range of mobility devices, along with free interactive activities and a space to enjoy the city.

“Roll With Us: Access in Action” is a collaboration with Shikha Chauhan, Ayako Nakagawa, and Emily Perchlik of HNTB; Daren Crabill of Sound Transit; and Jordan Hoover of King County Metro.

You can find us near Mithun’s Pier 56 office at the base of the Harbor Steps at 1220 Western Avenue. This pop-up exhibit is part of Park(ing) Day, an annual, global event that temporarily reclaims urban space from cars to advocate for safer, greener and more equitable streets for people.
