University Prep ULab is a new academic hub designed to ignite student agency, collaboration, creativity and leadership through interdisciplinary and project-based learning. The 39,000 sf student center expands upper school learning opportunities that invite change, spark innovation and encourage socialization through community.
Join Mithun’s integrated design team, including Michael Everett (architecture), Amelia Jensen (landscape architecture) and Lori Manderson-Tilley (interior design) for the A4LE Washington Chapter University Prep ULab tour to explore how a modular architectural framework can support evolving teaching pedagogies and emerging curriculum for the future. The team will identify architectural strategies that prioritize human health and environmental performance to enhance links between space and student engagement, excitement, learning, focus, and wellbeing. Attendees will learn how space utilization and organization can amplify the impact of programs offered and create a culture of innovation and adventure.
