EPA’s Climate Justice Community Change program directs $2 billion of IRA funds towards environmental and climate justice activities that benefit disadvantaged communities’ projects to reduce pollution, increase resilience and build community capacity to address climate injustices. Place-based investments focus on community-driven initiatives with transformative potential of resilience for those most adversely and disproportionately impacted by climate change, legacy pollution and historical disinvestments.

Join Mithun associate principal and sustainability integration leader Hilary Noll for “How We Can Leverage $2 Billion for Climate Justice,” to explore the potential of community-driven place-based investments. Attendees will hear from three Technical Assistance provider design teams who guided conceptual design work to elevate resilience hubs across the US, from rural tribal settings to urban contexts.

Hilary’s co-presenters are Edifel Designs principal engineer Victoria Brinemugha, Farr Associates Architecture & Urban Design project manager and architect Alina Tompert and One Architecture & Urbanism architectural and urban designer Meichen Wang.
