Washington School for the Deaf Wins National and Regional DBIA Awards

Washington School for the Deaf (WSD) Divine Academic and Hunter Gymnasium has been recognized by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) with awards at the national and regional level.

As part of the DBIA National Design-Build Project/Team Awards, the project has won an Award of Merit for Educational Facilities. It is eligible for the National Award of Excellence and Project of the Year honors, to be announced on November 6th at DBIA’s Design-Build Conference and Expo Awards Celebration in Las Vegas.

In the DBIA Northwest Region Annual Project Excellence Awards, presented by the Oregon Chapter, WSD has earned an Award of Excellence, also in the Educational Facilities category. The project was recognized for innovative design-build strategies, collaboration, and commitment to budget, schedule and construction excellence.
