Landscape architects provide leadership in major infrastructure work at a variety of scales and settings, from site-scale green stormwater infrastructure to regional shoreline adaptation. How is collaboration changing with engineers on designs that respond to the technical, economic and social challenges of increasingly complex climate and infrastructure projects?
Join Mithun senior associate Amelia Jensen for “Future Infrastructure Design: Foundations for Collaboration Between Landscape Architects and Engineers,” to learn how to articulate a framework for collaboration between various engineering disciplines and landscape architecture. This session will examine landscape-architecture-led complex infrastructure projects at different scales, and explore the nuances of engineering skill sets and how they translate to better project outcomes.
Amelia’s co-presenters include Moffatt & Nichol Northern California resilience lead Younes Nouri, and Magnusson Klemencic senior principal Matt Jones.
