Katharine Favret

Associate Principal

LEED AP

Katharine has 20 years of experience with the design and development of built environments from affordable and market rate housing to university academic and student life communities, and K-12 schools. Drawing from her background in the environmental sciences, she approaches architecture with a systems approach—maintaining a holistic project view while addressing specific design details or program needs. As such, Katharine is an agile project architect with particular skill at leading technically complex projects like the new UCLA Olympia and Centennial Residence Halls, a hillside 1,793-bed undergraduate student housing community with a bridge to main campus. In addition to her project-based efforts, Katharine contributes valued expertise to the firm’s risk management committee, reviewing contracts and ensuring scope alignment with client goals.
