Tom Fitzgerald is a talented landscape architect, mentor and project manager who thinks holistically to advance ecological performance and human experience within a wide range of urban, campus and natural environments. A strong listener and creative thinker, he excels at collaborating with mission driven clients to craft multi-benefit solutions that align with available funding, serve diverse audiences and anticipate future climate change.
His body of work includes improvements at multiple California State Parks — including Humbolt Redwoods State Park, Big Basin State Park in the Santa Cruz mountains and Cal Citrus State Park in Riverside — as well as affordable family housing communities across the Bay Area, and new student residences at UCLA Gayley Towers. In addition to his project-based efforts, he is a recognized Mithun Mentor and skilled photographer of the built environment.
