Advancing Brand and Values

The relocation of Seattle Foundation’s headquarters to the center of downtown Seattle activated broad transformations for the organization. The new space accommodates future growth and operational goals, and powerfully expresses their brand, mission and role as a positive catalyst in the community.

Vision for Teamwork

Equitable and flexible workspaces, diverse meeting rooms, access to daylight and communal spaces are tailored to meet employee needs and to support collaboration with partner organizations. A central open space connects individuals and activities, from the open team hub at the east to the event space at the west.

Community Hub

Conveniently located in an active urban tower overlooking Westlake Park, the accessible office features a community convening space with capacity to host large events, bringing together Foundation patrons and partners “to make Greater Seattle a stronger, more vibrant community for all.”

The office reception area connects visitors with dynamic gathering spaces and city views—over Puget Sound to the west and into downtown’s energy to the east.

As part of the foundation’s migration from private offices to open workspaces, abundant “flex rooms” provide acoustic control for individual focus work and collaborative team meetings. The rooms are marked with the names of communities that the foundation serves.

Open workspaces promote daylight equity and collaboration, and feature shared access to views along the building perimeter.
