The AIA 2030 Commitment is a voluntary program dedicated to helping firms transform their practice to meet the urgent need for carbon elimination in the built environment. This program is the first to truly address portfolio-wide performance and support firms to holistically evolve their culture, systems, and processes to align with zero carbon goals. Instead of resting on the laurels of some exemplary projects, 2030 firms track their entire portfolio of work and commit to continuous improvement, reducing their carbon and energy footprints over time, ideally to hit the targets originally defined by the nonprofit Architecture 2030.

Join Mithun senior associate Mike Fowler for “AIA 2030 Signatories—Secrets to Success for Larger Firms” to hear insights about how Mithun was successful in meeting the AIA 2030 Commitment target for minimum 70% net energy use reduction. In addition to Mithun’s lessons learned, the session features rapid-fire presentations from other signatory firms that met or exceeded the 2030 targets including EHDD, Green Hammer, LPA and CO Architects.

This event was recorded and is available for viewing via AIAU. Mike’s presentation begins at the 48:30-minute mark.
