The Advancing Computational & Design Automation conference gathers architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) leaders to explore human-centered AI strategies, scalable automation workflows, strategies for building your own future-ready team and so much more.
As part of the pre-conference workshop day, Mithun partner and landscape architect Erin Jacobs and associate principal Chi Aoyama will be presenting “Cultivating Firmwide Digital Fluency,” an interactive session aimed at shifting the focus from speed and complex optimization toward true digital fluency — a holistic approach where technology seamlessly empowers every process and increases positive change through design. The presentation will cover strategies to build a culture where innovation is not confined to specialists, and instead every individual is equipped, regardless of role, with the tools and confidence to leverage computational technologies and contribute meaningfully. Erin and Chi will share lessons learned from Mithun and facilitate participant discussion to examine pathways to sustain firm structure and deep expertise while enabling firmwide agency, creating unique pathways for growth and adaptability in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
