The AIA COTE Top Ten Awards set the standard for sustainable design excellence. This collaborative webinar, hosted by AIA Housing and Community Development and the AIA Committee on the Environment, will feature 2026 COTE Top Ten Awardee Kapuso at the Upper Yard.
Mithun’s cross-disciplinary team, including Anne Torney, Iveanette Santiago Rivera, Mariel Steiner and Annie Rummelhoff, will discuss how they used an integrated design approach for transit-oriented affordable housing, public realm improvements and decarbonization to strengthen neighborhood connectivity and equity outcomes.
They will co-present this session with Mar Structural Design founder David Mar. David Baker Architects’ principal Kate Ackerly will moderate.
