Today we’re showcasing Centering Health Equity, a Mithun R+D effort in collaboration with the Green Health Partnership. Centering Health Equity sets a course to build back better towards stronger communities and thriving businesses by centering health equity in the built environment projects and practice. The team’s hybrid approach includes case study narratives, interviews and workshop development of an open-source beta Action Framework to inspire broad application and continual improvement. Do you miss outdoor music events as much as we do? We’re thrilled to see that the Ascend Amphitheater has a line-up of LIVE events starting tomorrow with the Nashville Ballet. Located at the foot of Nashville's famous country music promenade within a civic park along the Cumberland River, the outdoor event venue frames the city skyline and evokes the character of the city's 19th century limestone civic structures, cast iron bridges and ever-present musical heritage. The stage structure gestures towards the river, while a stone base defines and amplifies the natural materials used throughout the surrounding park. Designed by Mithun (as Hodgetts + Fung) in association with Smith Gee Studio, executive architect. LEED Gold certified. 📷: Rachel Paul

For an elevated experience, check out @SeattleBoulderingProject’s new Fremont location! The design transforms an existing warehouse and celebrates its architectural features, including a barrel vault roof and exposed wood decking, while positioning climbing walls to maximize height and open area. New slot windows create channels of light to emphasize the dramatic movements of climbing and mimic the changing conditions of shadows on rock faces in the outdoors. With custom-built terrain for all ages and levels, the space removes barriers and offers an inclusive experience for the curious as well as advanced climbers. 📷 : @k7scott
