We’re thrilled to announce that Mithun’s design, “Estuary,” received an Honor Award in the Architecture at Zero 2015 competition! Our concept for net zero energy student housing at the UC San Francisco (UCSF) Mission Bay campus was hailed for its sensitive attention to placemaking and human experience. The jury also noted the excellent synergy between engineering and architecture to achieve performance goals. Many thanks to our engineering collaborator, PAE, and Mithun’s multidisciplinary design team in Seattle and San Francisco.
