Our new corporate office for the Perot family businesses is a finalist in the @interiordesignmag 2017 Best of Year Awards program! The campus is organized around a central “intersection” space that emphasizes collaboration, stair culture and shared corporate values. It was a pleasure collaborating with @bokapowell and @emilysummersstudio on the interior design. 📷: Bruce Damonte, with LED chandelier by @studio1thousand

We’ve enjoyed participating in the Resilient by Design Bay Area Challenge as leader of The Home Team (@mithun_hometeam_rbd), and are excited to share our initial design ideas for public feedback. Through December 1, you can explore the design opportunities online at neighborland.com/resilientbay (link in bio) and share your input, thoughts, and dreams about the concepts. Scroll down to The Home Team’s three Design Opportunities for strategies that link structural equity to infrastructure improvements for Bay Area communities facing climate change and sea level rise. Share feedback and make your voice heard!

Only seven months after competition award, concrete is being poured at @UCIrvine’s Middle Earth Expansion student housing! Forty-four trucks delivered concrete for the north tower’s five-foot-deep mat slab pour. When complete, the living/learning community will consist of two residential towers rising above a podium base that echoes the natural form of the surrounding region’s limestone canyons. 📷: Kaylyn Martinez

Fall colors and textures come to life at @ChathamU’s Eden Hall Campus! This path to the Dairy Barn Café follows the water flow through campus—one example of how sensory experience and ecological systems unite to enrich learning here. The project recently received a 2017 Energy in Design Award at @AIASeattle Honor Awards. 📷: Dave Goldberg
